What is the best type of fabric for a sofa?

Which fabric is most durable for a sofa?
As a general rule of thumb, the more tightly woven a fabric is, the more it can withstand.
If you’re looking for a durable material that can withstand regular usage, we would recommend ordering a number of swatches and stretching out the material yourself. If your chosen swatch gives little to no give, the fabric is likely to be strong and durable.
